Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a Draughtsperson EFZ Civil Engineering specialising in Railway Construction / Railway Civil Engineering for demanding infrastructure and railway projects. You will take on the constructive processing of plan and 3D models and work primarily with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Together with civil engineers, you will develop technically precise solutions for projects of various sizes and support the increasing BIM and model-based planning. Depending on experience, there is the possibility to take responsibility for plan and model production on smaller projects.
Responsibilities:
Creation and processing of project, execution, and detail plans for railway and railway civil engineering projects
Design of track, route, civil engineering, and infrastructure facilities for various railway companies
Building and processing of 3D models with AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D
Creation of site plans, longitudinal profiles, cross profiles, and constructive details
Processing and integration of surveying, terrain, and 3D data into project models
Support of project management and civil engineers in the planning of railway infrastructures
Implementation of railway-specific requirements and regulations, especially AB-EBV and R RTE
Participation in BIM-based planning and further development of digital planning processes
Conducting plan and model checks and ensuring consistent plan quality
Coordination of planning interfaces with engineers, specialist planners, and other project participants
Depending on experience, taking over the technical coordination of plan and model production on smaller projects
Participation in the further development of CAD standards, templates, and digital working methods
Qualifications:
Completed training as a Draughtsperson EFZ specialising in Civil Engineering, draftsman, or comparable technical training
Professional experience in civil engineering planning, ideally in Swiss railway or railway civil engineering
Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage
Experience or interest in 3D modelling, BIM, and digital infrastructure planning
Knowledge of railway-specific regulations AB-EBV and R RTE is an advantage
Experience in creating technical project, execution, and detail plans
Good German language skills, spoken and written
