Job Description
As Site Manager / Operations Manager, you ensure the supervision, coordination and smooth running of the Geneva site, acting as the link between teams, various departments and management.
- Organise and supervise site activity, allocate tasks, manage priorities and ensure operational presence with the teams.
- Manage, support and unite employees, while promoting smooth communication and a good working atmosphere.
- Ensure the availability, maintenance and safety of vehicles, machines and equipment, as well as site cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene standards, current regulations and internal training.
- Control the quality of goods on entry and exit, participate in analyses, checks and production tests.
- Coordinate interventions with the sales department, organise collections, manage stocks, inventories and RPLP cards.
- Ensure operational versatility: occasional replacement of positions, weighing, driving machinery and operating installations as needed.
- Analyse situations, anticipate unforeseen events and propose appropriate solutions to guarantee continuity and quality of operations.
- Carry out any task necessary for the smooth running of the site and the company.
Profile Sought
We are looking for a profile:
- CFC recycler qualification or equivalent training
- Forklift driving licence and experience in loader operation
- Proven experience in an industrial environment, ideally in recycling or waste recovery
- Solid field experience and good understanding of operational realities
- Excellent command of French, any other language is an asset
- Good command of common IT tools (Windows, MS Office), essential
- Charismatic, pragmatic and organised personality, with natural authority and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to set a clear framework, unite a team and make fair and quick decisions, including in unforeseen circumstances.
- Solution-oriented mindset, with great adaptability, priority management and listening skills, fostering a trusting relationship with employees.
