What is my role?

• You are responsible for the purchase of sheet metal and steel – from obtaining quotes, through evaluation and negotiation, to awarding and ordering

• You monitor deadlines and keep control over all ongoing processes

• You diligently check invoices and credit notes

• You manage profile reorders, backlog lists and carry out delivery date controls

• You clarify general questions regarding purchasing and take on various administrative tasks

What do I need to be successful?

• A technical basic education in the construction industry with commercial further training or a commercial basic education with experience in the construction industry

• Ideally professional experience in a similar field of activity

• Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite

• A strong flair for numbers and a good sense of figures

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Assertiveness and genuine enjoyment of price negotiations

• A high degree of accuracy and reliability
