Independent management of assigned product groups and procurement categories.
Negotiation of purchase prices, terms and long-term supply agreements.
Development and implementation of department-specific procurement strategies.
Conducting regular discussions with national and international business partners.
Analysis of relevant procurement markets and identification of alternative sources.
Evaluation of new products and suppliers regarding their potential use.
Professional support of internal departments on purchasing-related questions and projects.
Supervision of a commercial apprentice as a practical trainer.
Qualifications:
Commercial basic training or technical apprenticeship with business management further education.
Several years of professional experience in strategic or operational purchasing.
Further education in purchasing or supply chain management is an advantage.
Good understanding of technical products and their procurement requirements.
Confident manner in negotiations and dealing with suppliers.
Independent working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
Quick comprehension, initiative and assertiveness.
Good German skills as well as solid English skills in spoken and written form.
