About the job
Join a key player in medical microfabrication
At Resonetics, we push the boundaries of microfabrication in the service of medical devices and diagnostics. Our cutting-edge technologies enable our clients to innovate and improve patients’ lives worldwide.
Our Puidoux site, which employs 150 people, is a strategic supplier of high-precision metal tubes and components for medical devices. In a context of growth and stringent regulatory requirements, we are strengthening our quality team.
We are looking for a production technician ready to play a key role in the technical mastery of our process and to support our production teams on a daily basis.
Your mission
Ensure technical mastery of the drawing process to guarantee compliance and quality of manufacturing, while providing technical expertise directly on the ground for adjustments, complex manufacturing, and problem-solving.
The production technician works within the production teams, in close collaboration with the Team Leader, supervision, and engineering. A true technical reference on site, they contribute to the development of employees’ skills as well as the continuous improvement of the process.
Previous experience in drawing is an asset but not essential. We are primarily looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, a good understanding of industrial processes, and a real aptitude for adjustment and problem-solving. Specific training on the drawing process will be provided internally.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth technical operation of drawing processes and the compliance of tubes with dimensional, mechanical, and surface finish requirements.
- Adjust machines and fine-tune drawing parameters, especially for complex or sensitive manufacturing.
- Use calculation tools necessary for defining drawing parameters and selecting appropriate tooling.
- Define, adapt, and optimise drawing recipes according to products and results obtained.
- Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues related to the process and escalate them when necessary.
- Participate in root cause analyses, testing, and improvement actions with the relevant teams.
- Provide direct technical support to production for manufacturing requiring a higher level of mastery.
- Train and support employees on adjustments, best practices, and working methods.
- Collaborate closely with the Team Leader, supervision, engineering, and production teams.
- Ensure accuracy and updating of technical documentation.
Your profile
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a technical field or equivalent training.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical role in an industrial environment, ideally as a technician, mechanic-adjuster, or operator-adjuster.
- Good mastery of machine adjustment and good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Comfortable with production parameters, technical data, and calculation tools.
- Ability to analyse and solve technical problems in a structured manner.
- Rigour, autonomy, team spirit, and ability to share knowledge.
- Fluent French.
Working hours
Position on 2x8 shift schedule, with an initial training period during daytime hours.
What we offer you
- A high-precision industrial environment, technologically demanding and stimulating
- Close proximity to production, engineering, and clients
- A committed and collaborative team
- Varied projects and interactions with international clients and teams
- The opportunity to contribute concretely to the improvement and transformation of our quality processes
- Professional development opportunities within a growing international group
At Resonetics, we value excellence, commitment, and team spirit. If you wish to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.
