About the job

For our two Ronald McDonald Parent Houses in Geneva, we are looking for a committed individual capable of combining operational management, family support, team leadership and local fundraising.

Every day, children are born prematurely, suffer accidents or fall suddenly ill. To enable families to stay close to their child during these challenging times, the Ronald McDonald Children’s Foundation has been offering them a "temporary home" close to hospitals since 1994. With seven Parent Houses in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Zurich, we create a reassuring environment when family proximity is most precious.

In Geneva, our two houses accommodate up to nine families. Their operation is ensured by three staff members as well as volunteers.

Your area of responsibility

• Operational management of the two Parent Houses in Geneva
• Support for families from their arrival until their departure
• Leadership and development of the team as well as volunteers
• Guarantee and continuous development of quality standards
• Budget responsibility and maintenance of operating accounts
• Active fundraising and development of sustainable partnerships
• Planning of communication, networking and fundraising activities

Your profile

• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a service-oriented environment
• Empathy, organisational skills and strong solution orientation
• Practical mindset and interest in a varied professional daily routine
• Availability for regular weekend duties
• Excellent command of French, good knowledge of German, English is a plus
• Residence in the Geneva region
