Team Leader Pipeline Construction / District Heating (m/f/d)
Role:
As Team Leader Pipeline Construction / District Heating, you lead an installation team and are responsible for the professional, timely, and efficient construction of pipeline systems, especially in the area of district heating. You coordinate the work directly on site and ensure high execution quality through precise measuring, cutting, pre-assembly, welding, and installation. You will be deployed throughout Switzerland and take responsibility for the quality and documentation of the completed work.
Responsibilities:
Leading one or more installation teams each with 2-4 employees
Organising and coordinating work on the construction site
Professional measuring, cutting, pre-assembly, welding, and installation of pipe components
Construction of pipeline systems, especially in the area of district heating
Working with prefabricated plastic-coated pipes with steel pipes
Ensuring efficient, timely, and professional execution
Conducting and supporting the required quality inspections, especially using non-destructive testing methods
Comprehensive documentation of the completed work and test results
Responsibility for compliance with quality, safety, and deadline requirements
Deployment throughout Switzerland on construction sites, sometimes directly in the pipeline trench
Qualifications:
Professional experience in district heating and/or industrial pipeline construction
Experience in working with steel and stainless steel
Completed training or professional experience in a related field, e.g. ventilation, heating, refrigeration, sanitary, plant and apparatus construction specialising in pipeline construction or civil engineering
Experience in leading and coordinating installation teams
Independent, reliable, and precise working style
High quality and responsibility awareness
Good organisational skills and strong technical understanding
Willingness to undertake nationwide construction site deployments and corresponding travel activity
