About the job
We need you and your skills to complete our care team. We await you in our medico-social psychiatric establishment for the elderly of the Fondation de l’Orme, as a Deputy Head Nurse at 100%. Permanent contract from 1 January 2027
Our facilities currently accommodate a total of 90 residents and approximately 150 staff. They are located in Lausanne, one in the Métamorphose eco-district at chemin des Bossons 40 and the other at chemin des Plaines-du-Loup 4B.

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Possession of a health management training such as a CAS postgraduate certificate or any other equivalent qualification
- Ability to integrate your actions within interdisciplinary support work
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Ability to manage priorities, stress and time management
- Strong interest in elderly care, team management and human relations.
Your work
- Work closely with the head nurse to ensure the quality of services provided to residents, respecting all care-related processes. Cover for the head nurse in their absence
- Assist the head nurse in team management, ensuring each employee adopts a stance consistent with the institutional philosophy. Intervene if necessary to provide optimal support.
- Be a key contact for residents and their families/relatives, to respond to their needs and expectations.
- Aim to improve care services by contributing to the analysis of actions taken through supervising practices.
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with all activity sectors of the EMS of the Fondation de l’Orme.
- Participate in the admission process of new residents.
- Be the contact person for all health network partners and external service providers.
