Dipl. Nurse HF/FH in the Intensive Care Unit

Our intensive care unit with a bed capacity of up to 10 beds is equipped with the most advanced technology and modern facilities. We treat, care for, support, and advise the patients entrusted to us according to the latest knowledge and, in accordance with our nursing philosophy, consider the patient’s environment and their individual life history.

These are your tasks

• · Care, monitoring, and treatment of patients in critical situations
• Assistance/care during the initial treatment of emergency patients
• Commitment to the continuous optimisation of nursing processes
• Early recognition of clinical changes and initiation of appropriate measures
• Implementation and monitoring of diagnostic and therapeutic measures in collaboration with the interprofessional treatment team
• Confident handling of monitoring and medical-technical devices within your competencies
• Accompanying, advising, and supporting patients and their relatives
• Active interprofessional collaboration with doctors, therapists, and other professional groups
• Participation in the induction and support of new employees and students within your competencies
• Commitment to the continuous optimisation of nursing quality and nursing processes

This is what distinguishes you

• You have a qualification as a Dipl. Nurse HF/FH and bring at least six months of professional experience
• You have an interest in intensive care nursing and are willing to develop professionally, for example with the NDK Monitoring Care (ÜWP) or the NDS HF Intensive Care Nursing
• You work responsibly and independently and recognise changes in your patients’ condition early
• You are a committed, flexible, and team-oriented personality and appreciate interprofessional collaboration
• You communicate clearly and appreciatively and approach patients and relatives with empathy and professionalism
• You maintain an overview and set priorities even in dynamic and demanding situations
• You are open to new things and want to actively contribute to the further development of our intensive care unit
