As part of its development, this Geneva public authority is looking for a Financial Manager to oversee financial activities and support the Management in its strategic decisions.

Your tasks with your new employer

• Manage all financial activities and ensure the smooth running of the department
• Prepare and monitor budgets, financial plans and investments
• Supervise accounting, closings and financial reporting
• Advise Management and various managers on financial issues
• Monitor key financial files and contribute to strategic decision-making
• Lead and support a small team

You offer your new employer

• A higher education in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent
• Proven experience in a financial role with responsibilities, ideally in the public sector or within an accounting firm
• Holding a Federal Diploma as a finance and accounting specialist is an asset
• Initial management experience
• Excellent command of financial and analytical accounting as well as management tools
• Good knowledge of the Geneva environment
• An analytical, structured and rigorous mind, as well as an interest in public issues
