Qualified and experienced mason (M/F)

Contract type: Temporary assignment

On behalf of several companies active in the canton of Fribourg, we are looking for qualified and experienced masons (M/F).

Your main tasks

• Masonry and construction:

  • Laying bricks, concrete blocks, aggregates, stones and prefabricated elements.

  • Erection of load-bearing walls, partitions, facades and building structures according to execution plans.

  • Construction of foundations, slabs, screeds, traditional masonry work, conversion or renovation.

• Assembly and mortar:

  • Preparation and application of appropriate mortars, concrete and coatings.

  • Squaring, alignment, checking levels and verticality of structures.

• Finishing and safety:

  • Joint work, plastering, cladding and neat finishing.

  • Assembly and dismantling of scaffolding, securing the site and strict compliance with safety rules as well as SUVA standards.

Your profile

• Experience: Proven experience of at least 3 years on construction sites in Switzerland.

• Technical skills: Mastery of traditional and modern masonry techniques, reading plans, marking out and taking measurements.

• Abilities: Autonomy, precision, team spirit, rigour and excellent physical condition.
