Maison Desplanches is recruiting a Salesperson-Server in bakery / tea-room

Join an iconic artisanal house in Geneva!

For several generations, Maison Desplanches has cultivated a passion for artisanal know-how, the quality of its products, and respect for bakery and pastry traditions.

As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a dynamic, friendly, and customer service passionate salesperson-server to join our sales and catering teams.

Your duties

• Welcome, advise and build customer loyalty by ensuring warm and professional service.

• Ensure the sale of our bakery, pastry, chocolate, and other artisanal specialties.

• Provide table service in our tea-room, from taking orders to payment.

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, respecting our quality standards.

• Participate in setting up, restocking, and neatly presenting our display cases and sales areas.

• Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of sales and catering areas.

• Participate in the daily management of the shop: opening, closing, cash handling, and stock monitoring.

• Guarantee compliance with internal procedures as well as hygiene and safety standards.

Your profile

• Professional experience of at least 2 years in bakery, pastry, catering or hospitality sales.

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in sales or catering, an equivalent qualification, or significant professional experience.

• Excellent sense of welcome, service, and customer satisfaction.

• Neat appearance, natural smile, and ease in interpersonal relations.

• Dynamic, versatile, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Rigour, autonomy, and organisational skills.

• Team spirit, flexibility, and availability.

• Excellent command of French; knowledge of English is an asset.

• Residence in Switzerland required.
