What you bring:

• Completed studies as an architect ETH/FH with solid professional experience in project management
• Experience in the role of client representation and in public procurement is an advantage
• Confidence in assessing architectural concepts with high demands on building culture and sustainability as well as experience with digital planning and construction processes
• As a strong communicator, you know how to win negotiation partners for common goals and implement customer needs operationally, architecturally and technically at a high level

Your working environment

The Department of Finance and Resources with around 650 employees is a cross-sectional department responsible for ensuring that the canton has the necessary resources to fulfil its tasks.

The employees of the Real Estate Aargau division systematically and purposefully manage the cantonal real estate portfolio. They cover the space requirements of cantonal institutions at market conditions and are responsible for new buildings, renovations as well as the repair and maintenance of cantonal properties, whether school, office building, prison or castle.
