Caretaker for School and Sports Facilities (a)

Due to a retirement, a reliable and motivated individual is sought for the maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning of school and sports facilities. You will work independently and proactively, take responsibility for building services, and ensure smooth operation of all properties together with a small team.

your tasks

• Independent organisation and execution of maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep (including winter service)
• Responsibility for the smooth operation of building technical systems and engaging external service providers as needed
• Leading a small team of cleaning staff and deputising for the Facility Management head
• Function as Safety Officer (SiBe) for inspections, maintenance, and occupational safety
• Supporting users of the properties and collaborating on projects
  

• Completed basic craft training or training as a specialist in operational maintenance
• Federal diploma in caretaking or willingness to complete this further training
• Independent, reliable working style, high initiative, and strong team skills
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good IT user skills
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends as well as on-call duty
