Your tasks
- You actively shape the nursing process and take co-responsibility for quality and implementation
- You contribute specifically to preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic measures and coordinate these within the interdisciplinary team
- You take a leading role in reports, case discussions and team meetings
- You are the central contact person for nursing questions and actively promote the professional development of your team
- You support the ward management in the further development of concepts and nursing standards
- You participate in projects, take on tasks in the area of nursing quality and specifically shape your own further education
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (FH / BScN) or a diploma in nursing with a focus on psychiatry – or wish to obtain the Bachelor’s degree
- You work in a structured, independent manner and bring sound expertise as well as high social competence
- You appreciate exchange within the interprofessional team and actively drive the further development of psychiatric nursing with commitment
- You remain calm, clear and attentive even in demanding situations
- You are confident in using digital tools
- You think ahead, recognise the need for action early and want to actively help shape your working environment

The University Psychiatric Centre Bern (UPZ) is the leading competence centre for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region as a university clinic. It ensures psychiatric care in the canton of Bern along the entire care chain, from early detection through outpatient, day clinic and inpatient therapies to rehabilitation and forensics. With over 30 locations, the UPZ offers a comprehensive care network. In addition, the UPZ makes an important contribution in the areas of teaching, training and further education as well as research.
