About the job
Job Description
Our client is an internationally successful technology and industrial company based in Eastern Switzerland. To secure ongoing growth operationally and take production to the next level, we are looking for a true doer personality who not only manages but also gets stuck in and delivers clever solutions!
Do you come directly from manufacturing, love a strongly numbers-oriented environment, and prefer to optimise processes directly on the shop floor? Then this is your stage!
Production Manager Manufacturing and Assembly (m/f/d)
Your tasks in this key role
- You bear overall operational responsibility for production and control the smooth material flow as well as the entire value chain of the operation
- You take on the disciplinary and professional leadership of the subordinate interdisciplinary manufacturing and assembly areas
- As a driver of production increase, you analyse performance indicators (KPIs) with razor-sharp precision and derive targeted measures in an extremely numbers-driven environment
- You act as a proactive initiator: you bring fresh ideas, develop customised solutions, and consistently implement lean methods
- You lead your team through clear objectives, develop your employees purposefully, and establish a culture of continuous improvement
What you can look forward to
- An influential managerial position with scope for design at an established technology leader
- The unique chance to actively shape the production strategy and significantly scale the output
- A state-of-the-art working environment with short decision-making paths and an open, direct corporate culture
- An attractive salary package commensurate with the great responsibility as well as excellent social benefits
- A company that not only demands continuous improvements but also supports innovations with the necessary resources
Qualifications
What you bring as a leader
- Your solid foundation: a technical basic education, mandatorily complemented by higher business or technical training
- You come deeply from practice: you are a proven CNC expert and have learned the craft of modern manufacturing from the ground up
- You are a genuine "doer type" and feel absolutely in your element in a strongly numbers-oriented, dynamic company
- You demonstrate proven successes in value stream management, KPI control, and sustainable process improvement
- You are a solution-oriented leader who goes to the grassroots, challenges your team, but also actively promotes and develops it
- Confident German and good English skills
- You are not afraid to boldly challenge the status quo
