As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. in Kaiseraugst, we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Senior OneStream Developer for a temporary assignment until 30.08.2027, with high probability of extension.
The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced OneStream developer with a proven track record of successful OneStream project implementations, exhibiting strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong expertise in OneStream, including over five years of implementation and development experience. It involves hands-on work with system configuration, business rules (C#), data transformations, reporting, workflows, and financial consolidation processes. Candidates should possess solid technical skills in VB.NET or C#, SQL, and modern integration methods, along with the ability to create technical documentation and support testing. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to work in fast-paced, project-driven environments and support knowledge transfer within the organization.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of the OneStream solution for finance consolidation, Tax (CbCR & Pillar-two) and ESG, including enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
- System Implementation: Participate in the full lifecycle of the OneStream project, from design to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical support and guidance to co-workers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Advocate for and ensure adherence to OneStream coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for OneStream, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Deep technical expertise in OneStream, with 5+ years of OneStream implementation and development experience (OneStream certification preferred).
- Hands-on configuration and development experience in building and managing dimensions, hierarchies, and member properties.
- Experience developing complex Business Rules (C#) for calculations, validations, and data transformations.
- Expertise in designing and building Cube Views, Dashboards, Reports, workflows, user roles/permissions, and securities.
- Experience developing data transformation rules (ETL) to map source data to the OneStream data model.
- In-depth understanding of financial consolidation topics and month-end close processes.
- Business-focused, results-oriented approach with excellent coordination and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented and hands-on working style with the ability to multi-task independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a project-oriented, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
- Advanced proficiency in VB.NET or C# and SQL.
