Would you like to contribute your clinical and surgical expertise, lead a team, and further develop rhinology? At our University ENT Clinic, you will take on the professional and personnel management of the Rhinology department. As a member of the clinic management, you will also help shape the further development of the entire clinic. Our clinic offers comprehensive medical care in the entire field of ear, nose, and throat medicine. In rhinology, you can expect a broad clinical and surgical spectrum with outpatient and inpatient care for adults and children. An interdisciplinary team, modern infrastructure, and the combination of clinical work, research, and teaching create a versatile working environment.
What to expect
- Lead and develop rhinology: You take on the professional responsibility and personnel management of the department and develop it together with your team
- Shape the clinic: As a member of the clinic management, you contribute your expertise and ideas to the further development of the clinic as well as its processes and structures
- Contribute clinical and surgical expertise: You care for and treat outpatient and inpatient patients from the entire spectrum of rhinology
- Pass on knowledge and experience: You are involved in the training and supervision of prospective specialists at our Category A training centre as well as in student teaching
- Share responsibility together: You participate together with the other senior physicians in the clinic's on-call service
What you bring
- You hold a federally recognised specialist title in oto-rhino-laryngology or equivalent. The subspecialty title in head and facial surgery (SIWF) is desirable
- You bring solid clinical and surgical experience in rhinology including skull base surgery
- You are habilitated or have the academic qualifications to complete your habilitation within one to two years
- You have leadership experience and enjoy supporting employees and mentoring young colleagues in their professional development
- You are characterised by team orientation, strong social and communication skills, and a respectful approach to patients and staff
- You work independently, carefully, and reliably. Organisational skills, initiative, and interest in further developing clinical processes and structures complete your profile
- You have very good German language skills (C1-C2) as well as oral and written English skills. French language skills are an advantage
