Vehicle and Garage Maintenance Manager at 100%

The Municipality of Sainte-Croix is looking for, for its communal garage, a:

The communal garage maintains the fleet of vehicles and machinery of the Municipality: roads, snow clearance, forests, industrial services. The position is attached to the Technical Service.

Your responsibilities

• Plan and carry out maintenance, servicing, repairs and preparation for inspections of municipal vehicles and machinery;
• Manage the organisation and operation of the garage;
• Contribute to the development of the fleet renewal plan;
• Ensure occasional breakdown interventions mainly during the winter season, including outside normal hours.

Your profile

• Federal VET Diploma as an automobile maintenance mechanic (commercial vehicles), agricultural or construction machinery, or equivalent qualification;
• Proven experience in the maintenance of commercial vehicles or machinery;
• Confidence in diagnostics, especially electronic and hydraulic;
• Autonomy, organisational skills and sense of responsibility;
• Service-minded and ease in collaborating with different sectors;
• Category C driving licence is an asset;
• Incorporation into the SDIS is desirable.
