Head of Quality

For our partner, a leading Swiss family business in the Sumiswald region, we are looking for a quality-conscious individual. In this role, you ensure the high quality standard and significantly shape the strategic direction of quality management.

Head of Quality 80-100% (m,f,d)

Your tasks:

• Professional and personnel management of the Quality Management department in the Quality Hand Tools area
• Application and further development of quality methods including risk assessment
• Planning and execution of the audit programme (internal, external and suppliers)
• Support of the ISO management system
• Maintenance and targeted further development of the QMS as a strategic management element
• Identification and sustainable handling of quality problems and complaints including root cause analysis and effectiveness checks
• Development of testing strategies and test concepts for existing and new products
• Quality-related support of development projects including investigations on prototypes and pre-series
• Partner at eye level for metalworking employees on quality-relevant issues as well as promotion of a sustainable quality awareness

You bring with you:

• Mandatory technical-mechanical basic training with higher education (HF, FH level) as well as further training in quality management or a comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge in materials science with a focus on steel and steel processing
• Practical experience in quality management and quality assurance of high-quality consumer goods
• Extensive knowledge of common quality standards and methods as well as strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence
• Customer satisfaction, flexibility, team spirit, attention to detail and a keen eye for improvement opportunities
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
