HoReCa Sales Consultant - German-speaking Switzerland

Work location: German-speaking Switzerland (Zurich region or surroundings)

We are looking for a HoReCa Sales Consultant – German-speaking Switzerland to strengthen our sales team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our brands as well as the management and expansion of our customer portfolio in German-speaking Switzerland.

Main responsibilities

• Building, managing and developing a customer portfolio in the HoReCa sector (hotels, restaurants, cafés and other catering businesses);
• Identifying new business opportunities and actively acquiring new customers;
• Achieving defined sales targets;
• Maintaining and nurturing long-term customer relationships;
• Professional representation of the company as well as active presentation and marketing of our products and brands;
• Ensuring optimal customer service by recording relevant information on market conditions and customer visits in our systems;
• Monitoring market and competitive developments and recognising new trends in the catering sector.

Desired profile

Language skills

Required:

• German (fluent or native speaker).

Advantageous:

• English;
• French;
• Portuguese.

The candidate must have a strong command of German and be able to communicate professionally in at least one of the other mentioned languages.

Experience and skills

• Professional sales experience in the FMCG sector, ideally in the HoReCa or retail channel, or experience in B2B sales;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a strong results orientation;
• Sales talent, independence and initiative;
• Willingness to travel regularly within German-speaking Switzerland;
• Valid driving licence.

Particularly appreciated

• Residence in Zurich or surroundings;
• Good knowledge of the Swiss market and the HoReCa sector.
