Do you keep an overview when others only see material shortages?

In this key role, you ensure that our production is always supplied with the right components. You manage suppliers, coordinate appointments, and bring purchasing, production, and logistics together. You not only keep an eye on delivery times and stocks but also actively contribute to making our supply chain more efficient and powerful.

Operational Buyer Components - Sissach Plant (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Disposition of assigned purchasing items and ensuring timely material availability
• Support and management of suppliers for external contract processing as well as maintaining sustainable supplier relationships
• Monitoring delivery dates and proactively resolving schedule deviations and delivery issues
• Conducting offer comparisons and order processing with national and international suppliers
• Maintaining relevant item and supplier master data as well as analysing supply chain key figures
• Close cooperation with production, production planning, logistics, quality management, and global purchasing to ensure smooth production processes

Your profile:

• A completed technical or commercial training; further training in purchasing (for example as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate, technical merchant or comparable) is an advantage but not a prerequisite
• At least three years of professional experience in operational purchasing in an industrial environment, ideally in a production company
• Experience in disposition and dealing with national and international suppliers
• Good ERP knowledge (e.g. SAP, ABACUS or Dynamics) and confident use of MS Office
• Independent, resilient, and assertive personality with strong team and service orientation
• Fluent communication in German and English
