Project Manager / CAD Designer, Kitchen Construction (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional as a Project Manager / CAD Designer for Large Kitchens for the planning and realisation of high-quality commercial kitchen systems. You will accompany projects for hotels, gastronomy, hospitals and corporate catering from planning and costing through CAD design to assembly and acceptance. In doing so, you will particularly coordinate the technical interfaces with sanitary, electrical and refrigeration and ensure precise execution and installation planning. The position combines CAD design, project management and technical order processing with regular presence on construction sites in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management and project execution of new build and renovation projects in professional large kitchen construction

• Creation of project, execution, detail and installation plans for commercial kitchen systems

• Design and technical planning of stainless steel kitchens, kitchen furnishings and customer-specific components

• Project work using AutoCAD, ELITECAD and/or Autodesk Inventor as well as maintenance of technical planning documents

• Conducting construction dimension and installation checks on site and transferring the results into execution planning

• Coordination of technical interfaces with sanitary, electrical, refrigeration, ventilation and structural engineering

• Creation and monitoring of project and assembly schedules as well as coordination with clients, architects and contractors

• Preparation of cost calculations, customer quotations and change orders as well as ongoing monitoring of project costs

• Participation in construction and coordination meetings and technical clarification of execution details with project participants

• Support of projects during production, delivery and assembly as well as coordination of necessary adjustments on site

• Execution and accompaniment of commissioning, acceptance and defect rectification until successful project completion

• Responsibility for complete order administration and project documentation including final billing

Qualifications:

• Completed technical training in the field of structural engineering, design, metal construction or technical planning, for example as a certified designer EFZ or draughtsman EFZ

• Professional experience in project management, design and technical order processing, ideally in kitchen, plant or interior construction

• Very good knowledge of CAD design; experience with AutoCAD, ELITECAD or Autodesk Inventor is an advantage

• Experience in costing, quotation management, scheduling and project accounting

• Technical understanding of interfaces with sanitary, electrical, refrigeration and ventilation

• Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Category B driving licence and willingness for construction site assignments within the German-speaking part of Switzerland
