About the job
The University Clinic for Gynaecology is one of the leading and internationally recognised centres for gynaecology and obstetrics. We offer the full spectrum of gynaecology and accompany our patients with the highest medical competence and great commitment. In the Breast Centre and Gynaecological Cancer Centre, we care for women and men with all types of breast diseases as well as gynaecological tumours. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you contribute to ensuring that our patients are accompanied professionally, empathetically and efficiently.
What to expect
- You plan and coordinate the senology consultations
- You organise diagnostic examinations and advise patients by telephone – also utilising your foreign language skills
- You assist with minor surgical procedures
- You ensure the management, cleaning and maintenance of equipment and materials
- You take on delegated technical tasks such as blood sampling, insertion of peripheral venous catheters (PVC), monitoring and preparation of medications
What you bring
- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) or Health Specialist (FaGe)
- Several years of professional experience in an acute hospital or a larger medical practice
- Independent, structured and responsible working style – also in demanding situations
- Strong organisational skills and enjoyment of administrative tasks
- High social competence, strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with various professional groups
- Good IT user skills and confident handling of digital work tools
- Quick comprehension
