About the job
The University Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases, Head and Neck Surgery offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services at a university level across the entire field of ENT medicine. The paediatric speech therapy team specialises in the examination, consultation and therapy of infants, children and adolescents with swallowing, language, speech and voice disorders (including tracheal cannulas).
What to expect
- You can expect a varied and challenging job with children of various age groups during their hospital stay or in an outpatient setting
- You will care for children with acquired as well as congenital feeding and drinking difficulties
- You will advise and support parents with their children to initiate and improve food intake and communication
- You will work with children and adolescents who have language, speech or swallowing problems following brain injury in both inpatient (early rehabilitation) and outpatient settings
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in speech therapy or another EDK-recognised qualification in speech therapy
- Experience in the area of swallowing disorders in children is an advantage
- Fluent German, French and other foreign language skills are an advantage
