• You take care of the maintenance and upkeep of the buildings assigned to you and carry out repairs on systems, devices and machines independently.
• You support the other technical service specialists during their absence or in case of increased workload.
• When faced with technical challenges, you find practical solutions and apply your manual skills even where the latest technology is not always used.
• You independently coordinate repairs by external specialist companies and ensure that the necessary work is carried out professionally.
• In addition to the buildings, transport services are also part of your responsibilities. You undertake student transports to doctor and dentist appointments as well as material transports.
• You also ensure a safe and functioning operation during winter services and events: you assist in preparing rooms, event furniture and signage and lend a hand wherever your support is needed.

• You have completed training as a facility management specialist and hold the federal certificate as a caretaker.
• With your several years of professional experience in facility management, you solve technical and manual tasks independently and feel particularly confident in the areas of building services and safety.
• You are interested in historic buildings and their special requirements and ideally have experience in the maintenance of old buildings.
• You are characterised by an independent, proactive and reliable working style. You see what needs to be done, tackle the tasks and keep an overview even when several issues arise simultaneously.
• You enjoy working with children and young people with linguistic or cognitive impairments.
• Good German skills in spoken and written form, good IT user skills and a category B driving licence complete your profile.
