Dipl. Nursing Specialist

In our interdisciplinary Outpatient Pain Medicine at Inselspital, we care for patients with acute and chronic pain according to the biopsychosocial model. You will work in an outpatient setting with regular working hours without night and weekend shifts and become part of an experienced, committed team.

What to expect

• Nursing care of our patients before, during and after pain therapeutic interventions (fluoroscopy/image intensifier and ultrasound)
• Preparation of procedures
• Assistance in the intervention team
• Monitoring of vital parameters
• Safe aftercare including instruction and discharge organisation
• Taking blood samples
• Administration of local medication therapies under delegation
• Responsibility for complete documentation and performance recording
• Organisation of consultations and appointment scheduling
• Active contribution of nursing perspectives in the group programme for patient education

What you bring

• Completed training as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH (or equivalent)
• Interest in interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration; you enjoy working in a team and taking responsibility
• Very good communication and counselling skills, even in challenging situations; you approach patients with empathy and clarity
• You remain structured even at a high pace, prioritise confidently and keep an overview
• Quick comprehension, networked thinking and strong organisational talent
• Good IT user skills and enthusiasm for shaping digital processes (including new clinical information system)
• Very good German skills; good French skills are an advantage
• Ideally experience with chronically ill patients
