We are looking for our nursery KidsCare in Bulle, on a permanent contract, with a start date on August 1, 2026, or to be agreed, a
Site Manager at 80-100% (M/F)
Your mission
Ensure the pedagogical, administrative, and organizational management of the nursery, guaranteeing the quality of care and child development, team management, communication with families, and implementation of the institutional project. The site manager reports hierarchically to the multisite director.
Main responsibilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate the nursery's pedagogical project.
Supervise the quality of educational practices within the team.
Support and assist educators in specific situations.
Organize schedules and distribute responsibilities within the team.
Conduct annual interviews and ensure close HR follow-up.
Promote a collaborative and respectful work environment.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and health standards.
Manage administrative tasks (registrations, billing, monitoring of children and family files).
Monitor the budget and manage the nursery's material resources.
Keep institutional documents and necessary reports up to date (with authorities, headquarters, etc.).
Welcome, inform, and support families.
Represent the nursery in external meetings or projects.
Ensure coherence between nursery practices and institutional values.
Implement tools for monitoring and evaluating the quality of care.
Participate in institutional, inter-nursery, or cantonal projects.
Identify areas for improvement and propose pedagogical or organizational innovations.
Your profile
Tertiary diploma in early childhood education (ES EDE or equivalent).
Proven experience in team management.
Training in management and/or business administration is a strong asset.
Good knowledge of MS Office suite and ease working with computer software.
Native French speaker with professional English level (B2).
Strong managerial, organizational, and pedagogical skills.
Interpersonal skills, sense of listening, mediation, and communication.
Ability to manage priorities and make decisions.
Sensitivity to issues related to well-being, sustainability, and cultural diversity.
