SAP Technical Architect between 80 and 100%

About the job

As a SAP Technical Architect, you will support and participate in defining the SAP strategy based on business opportunities and system developments by following the SAP S/4HANA innovation Roadmap and its best practices. As a technical expert of the SAP solution, you will receive requests through various Solution Architects by business line. You will be involved in collaborating within an exciting and challenging environment, where our company has a standard SAP S/4HANA system from a successful GreenField project.

Do you recognise yourself in the following?

• You have a strong technical and solutions orientation and have experience in SAP projects (ideally S/4HANA)
• You have already participated in the operation of SAP systems as a member of a SAP competence centre or as an external consultant
• The implementation of new SAP solutions (GRC Tool, UX Tools, SAP SuccessFactors, others in the future) is an activity for which you have experience or interest
• You are proficient in French, both spoken and written (C1), and ideally have technical knowledge of English (B2)

Do these tasks inspire you?

• You ensure the proper functioning of the technical architecture of SAP environments, monitor its health, and propose improvements
• You supervise the technical processes related to SAP system changes (change requests, transport chain, validations)
• You perform the annual system updates (Support Packages, S/4HANA on-premise upgrades) and refresh test systems with production data upon request
• You ensure the proper management of SAP roles in compliance with the company’s segregation of duties rules
• You take charge of the User Experience (UX) aspect and are proactive in improving the existing setup
• You participate in defining our SAP Cloud Roadmap and manage the implementation, monitoring data flows and interfaces between our SAP Cloud (SaaS) solutions and our SAP On-Premise core
• You are the contact point for external auditors for IT audits of our SAP system as well as for internal DATA teams regarding data extraction from our ERP (Badi, CDS Views, APIs, others)
• You contribute to drafting specifications for business requests in collaboration with the relevant Solution Architects
• You manage external resources within your area of expertise (defining mandates, monitoring contractors’ work, quality control of deliverables)
