Professional System Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is: a committed IT service provider specialising in managed services, cloud and security solutions, as well as individual consulting. With a passion for technology and a deep understanding of business requirements, they support companies in building modern workplaces, highly available infrastructures, and secure IT processes.
Role:
In this role, you design modern ICT concepts and implement them technically so that customers can use their digital work environments efficiently and securely. You take responsibility for system environments with a focus on stable, manageable network infrastructures and ensure reliable, secure networking. You continuously support customers in the further development of their solutions and advise them on sensible optimisations. Depending on your interests, you contribute to different technical focal points and actively help shape the technologies used with your ideas. This way, you combine professional diversity, direct customer contact, and your own continuous development in a versatile system and network technology function.
Responsibilities:
- You plan, implement, and further develop modern IT infrastructures in the areas of workplace, server, cloud, network, and security.
- In this role, you lead demanding IT projects or actively participate in their implementation.
- You provide technical advice to customers, support them in operations, and assist sales in pre-sales activities.
- As a specialist in system and network technology, you take on third-level support for complex faults.
- You analyse technical problems in depth and develop sustainable solutions for stable IT environments.
- In this role, you work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high service quality.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist in system technology and several years of professional experience in system engineering
- Solid experience and strong interest in implementing modern network solutions
- Strong team skills and enjoyment in jointly developing technologies
- Independent, structured working style combined with high initiative
- Customer-oriented, responsible behaviour and good German language skills
- Driving licence category B
