Your mission
Within the operating theatre, you ensure the complete processing of medical devices, from their collection to their availability. You ensure strict compliance with hygiene, quality, and traceability standards to guarantee patient safety and the smooth running of the service.
Autonomous and meticulous, you coordinate the sterilisation activity and work closely with the operating theatre teams.

Your responsibilities

Collect, sort, dismantle and prepare medical devices;

Perform their manual or mechanical cleaning, disinfection and drying;

Check the cleanliness, integrity and proper functioning of the equipment;

Reassemble and pack surgical trays according to protocols;
-
Prepare, load and supervise sterilisation cycles;
-
Carry out and interpret various control tests, including Bowie-Dick, air leak tests and indicators;

Ensure complete traceability of operations and maintain sterilisation records;
-
Perform daily and periodic equipment checks;
-
Carry out routine maintenance of machines and address simple malfunctions;
-
Participate in annual equipment validations;
-
Organise activities according to priorities and the needs of the operating theatre;

Manage consumable stocks and participate in inventories and orders;

Keep workspaces clean, tidy and functional;
-
Collaborate with operating theatre teams, relevant departments and suppliers;
-
Contribute to continuous process improvement as well as the creation and updating of procedures.
Your profile

Training as a technical assistant in sterilisation, minimum level 1;
-
Experience in a similar role, ideally in a hospital environment or within an operating theatre;

Good knowledge of sterilisation procedures, medical devices and hospital hygiene rules;

Mastery of quality control and traceability principles;

Good command of French, both spoken and written;

Basic knowledge of computer tools.
