What you can achieve
- Your main tasks as a study and career advisor include all services offered by public vocational, study and career counselling: advising secondary school students, university students and people with a university degree, collaborating with teachers in study choice preparation and promoting career design skills, organising and conducting events (workshops with secondary school classes, parent orientations as well as other events for specific target groups), parent meetings and consultation hours at secondary schools
- Supervision of two secondary schools
- Supervision of our trainee and assistant
- Participation in projects and working groups as well as editorial work
- Introducing innovations and new ideas
What distinguishes you for this
- Degree in psychology and completed or advanced SBFI-recognised training in vocational, study and career counselling
- High presentation and moderation skills
- Proven competence in counselling and communication
- Sound knowledge in dealing with test diagnostic procedures and issues
- Strong quality and service orientation (willingness for evening assignments)
- Professional experience and strong affinity for education and labour market topics
- Cooperative and solution-oriented attitude as well as a committed, proactive, independent, flexible and resilient personality
- Strong ability to work independently, self-management and high self-motivation
- Flair for organisational and administrative tasks
