For our client in the Winterthur area, we are looking for a Service Technician Mechanical and Plant Engineering (m/f). You will solve technical problems directly at the customers’ premises, commission systems, and ensure reliable operation through careful maintenance. - Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and service work
- Analysing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control technology faults
- Testing system functions and implementing technical improvements
- Technical advice and instruction of customers on site
- Documentation of assignments and coordination with internal departments
- Experience in mechanical or plant engineering, maintenance, or technical service
- Good knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering; knowledge of control technology is an advantage
- Enjoyment of fault finding and direct contact with customers
- Independent and reliable working style
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and a category B driving licence
- Good German skills for collaboration with customers and the team
- A permanent position with a workload of 80–100 %
- Service assignments within Switzerland with a base in the Winterthur area
- A lot of personal responsibility in solving technical challenges
- Variety through different systems, tasks, and customer contacts
- The opportunity to further develop your skills in commissioning and service technology
- A salary range of CHF 75,000–90,000 gross per year at 100 %, depending on experience and qualifications

Profile
- Completed technical training, for example as a mechanic, automation technician, or mechatronics technician with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)- Experience in mechanical or plant engineering, maintenance, or technical service
- Good knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering; knowledge of control technology is an advantage
- Enjoyment of fault finding and direct contact with customers
- Independent and reliable working style
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and a category B driving licence
- Good German skills for collaboration with customers and the team
