You are responsible for categories of complex products and services in the field of IT and network infrastructure, as well as in related business sectors. In collaboration with specialised departments, you develop and implement strategies for these categories, conduct tenders as well as price and contract negotiations, and ensure sustainable and reliable supply. You thus contribute to the establishment of a modern and future-oriented procurement system by effectively bringing your expertise. Within a motivated team, you work independently, continuously learn, and advance our procurement strategy.

• You are responsible for categories of products and/or services in the field of IT and network infrastructure, as well as in related business sectors.

• You conduct tenders as well as price and contract negotiations, and you ensure reliable and sustainable supply

• You establish and develop strategic relationships with suppliers

• You work closely with internal specialised departments and promote innovation and cost optimisation

• Flexible working conditions, short decision-making processes, as well as opportunities for continuous training and professional development

Your skills

• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing of product and service categories

• Proven experience in developing and implementing category strategies as well as conducting tenders

• Experience in negotiating complex contracts with suppliers; knowledge of contract management

• Good knowledge of SAP; proficiency in SAP MM and SAP Ariba is an advantage

• You work analytically, structured and independently

• You confidently handle numbers, data and facts and derive coherent measures

• You communicate clearly, have team spirit and build trustful relationships with internal departments and suppliers

• Very good level of German and French (written and spoken); occasional travel to Switzerland
