As an Application Operations Engineer, you ensure that central specialised applications run stably and securely. You form the technical interface between application consulting and system operation. Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, and modern authentication solutions are part of your toolkit. Those who enjoy standardising, automating, and tracing complex faults to their root cause will find plenty of scope here.
Responsibilities:
You install and operate application landscapes and continuously develop them further.
You analyse complex application-related faults and resolve them sustainably.
You advise application managers on technical concerns and requirements.
Furthermore, you develop security policies, hardening specifications, and checklists.
You set up monitoring of ongoing operations and instruct the involved parties.
In addition, you accompany specification, testing, and rollout of releases and automate operational processes.
Qualifications:
You have a qualification in the IT field.
You have solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
You are well versed in Microsoft Server.
You also have experience with reverse proxy and identity provider solutions (IDP).
Knowledge of common business and document management applications is a plus.
Additionally, you work independently and precisely, remain curious, and value team exchange.
