Junior Business Controller (100%) (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 105,000Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, a company in the automotive industry located in Kloten, we are looking for a motivated junior professional as Junior Business Controller starting immediately. You will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial planning and continuously analyse cost structures with a special focus on fleet and vehicle costs. In this role, you will work closely with Finance, Fleet Management, Operations, and other departments, gaining valuable practical experience in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
You participate in budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial planning and derive concrete recommendations for action
You continuously analyse and control cost structures, with a special focus on fleet and vehicle costs
You analyse revenue, cost, margin, and profitability developments and identify deviations and optimisation potentials
You support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure high data and reporting quality
You further develop financial control and forecasting processes
You build and maintain KPI dashboards and management reports
You conduct actual vs. target, plan vs. actual, and previous year analyses
You prepare ad-hoc analyses as well as profitability, investment, and business case calculations
You contribute to the automation and digitalisation of controlling and reporting processes
Qualifications:
You have initial professional experience in controlling, business controlling, or FP&A, ideally in a dynamic, operational environment
You have good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost accounting
You possess very good Excel skills; experience with Power BI and Power Query is an advantage
You are confident handling large data volumes and show an affinity for ERP, reporting, and BI systems
You have strong analytical skills, a high affinity for numbers, and a good understanding of economic contexts
You think entrepreneurially and enjoy deriving concrete recommendations for action from numbers
You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented with team spirit and initiative
You have a completed degree or higher education in business administration, finance, controlling, or a comparable field
Experience in the mobility, automotive, rental, or fleet industry is an advantage but not a requirement
