Project Manager / Site Manager Infrastructure (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 115,000This Rocken partner operates as a specialist or overall planner in the fields of structural and infrastructure planning, environment and safety, as well as spatial and landscape planning with over 100 employees at 4 locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Their developments, plans and designs are always set in the overall context – cross-departmental and interdisciplinary. They are characterised by a comprehensive range of services that is nevertheless based on personal structures.
Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the independent planning and realisation of infrastructure projects. You will accompany projects from the initial idea through planning and tendering to construction implementation, increasingly taking on overall responsibility. The focus is on projects in civil engineering and infrastructure construction as well as coordination with clients, authorities, specialist planners and contractors. The position offers a great deal of personal responsibility and the opportunity to develop professionally and in project management.
Responsibilities:
Independent handling and management of infrastructure and civil engineering projects from planning to realisation
Preparation of preliminary, construction and execution plans according to the relevant SIA phases
Planning and coordination of projects in road construction, utility construction and general civil engineering
Creation and review of plans, technical reports, cost estimates and project documents
Preparation of tenders and specifications as well as support during submission and awarding
Assumption of local site management and supervision of professional and contractual construction execution
Control and monitoring of costs, deadlines and quality
Coordination of clients, authorities, utility owners, specialist planners and contractors
Conducting site meetings and handling quantities, claims and invoicing
Accompanying acceptance, defect rectification and project completion including complete project documentation
Participation in the further development of digital planning and project processes, for example CAD/BIM
Qualifications:
Education as civil engineer FH/ETH, technician HF civil engineering or comparable construction technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in planning and/or site management of infrastructure projects
Sound knowledge in road, utility or general civil engineering
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
Experience with tendering, cost planning, construction administration and invoicing
Good knowledge of industry-standard CAD and planning software
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
