Head of Region (80-100%) - 1536

Ensuring electricity in Switzerland

In this exciting role, you are responsible for the operational planning and management of the Region West Lines team with about eight employees. You take on the following tasks:

• Ensuring personal and plant safety – living a "Safety First" culture
• Together with your team, you are responsible for the preparation, execution, and documentation of maintenance work on all routes, including forestry in the West region
• Providing client representation within the framework of network construction projects on routes
• Budget responsibility for the maintenance and repair of routes and forestry throughout the entire West region
• Further development of maintenance and collaboration in network construction projects
• Maintaining cooperation with other departments inside and outside the Business Unit Grid Infrastructure, as well as representing and representing the company externally
• Leading and promoting directly subordinate employees, including targeted training and further education, forward-looking planning of personnel changes, and recruiting qualified employees
• Providing management on-call duty

For this role, we are looking for you as a leader with pronounced communication skills and systematic problem-solving and decision-making competence. You are flexible, resilient, and have the ability to create a motivating work environment. You bring the following:

• Completed engineering degree (FH or equivalent), preferably in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with business knowledge
• Many years of experience (> 6 years) in the planning, realization, and maintenance of energy infrastructure projects / plants (power plants, transmission lines, substations)
• Excellent project and program management skills
• Ability to promote constructive criticism, risk-taking, development, and change
• Very good French and German skills
