Role:
In this role, you design innovative and reliable IT solutions that are flexible and cost-effective, tailored to the needs of different customers. You plan and implement modern IT environments on-premise, in the cloud and in hybrid scenarios for SMEs as well as large customers. You use a Swiss high-performance cloud, which is among the most modern and powerful offerings, to cover demanding requirements. With professional logistics and service services, you contribute to ensuring that complex IT infrastructures run stably and performantly at all times. Through your commitment, you ensure that customers experience a proactive, modern and sustainable IT operation.
Responsibilities:
You support existing customers and continuously develop their IT infrastructures and system landscapes according to technical and business requirements.
You install, configure and operate Microsoft Windows Server and client environments and ensure stable and reliable operation.
You implement and support solutions around Microsoft 365 and assist customers in further developing their modern workplace and cloud environments.
You work with virtual desktop infrastructures and support solutions based on Citrix, VMware Horizon or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
You install, configure and support firewall and security solutions and ideally bring practical experience with Sophos environments.
You perform regular maintenance on customer environments, analyse their technical condition and ensure secure and stable operation.
You support the service desk with demanding technical problems in 3rd level support, analyse complex fault patterns and develop sustainable solutions.
You actively participate in IT infrastructure, cloud and modernisation projects and accompany technical changes from planning through implementation to handover to operations.
Qualifications:
You have several years of professional experience in system engineering and are familiar with supporting professional IT infrastructures.
You possess sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and client, Microsoft 365 as well as modern on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
You bring experience with VDI technologies such as Citrix, VMware Horizon or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
Knowledge in network and firewall, especially with Sophos solutions, complements your technical profile.
You have strong analytical skills and can investigate and independently resolve even complex technical faults in a structured manner.
You organise your tasks independently and reliably and can sensibly prioritise different customer, support and project requirements.
You enjoy direct customer contact, communicate professionally and maintain a respectful and empathetic approach with customers as well as colleagues.
You are motivated to continuously develop yourself professionally and personally and to expand your knowledge of current infrastructure, cloud and workplace technologies.
You have very good German and English skills and can communicate confidently both in customer contact and technical situations.
