About the job
As part of the development of its activities, I am looking for an experienced export freight forwarder.
You will be responsible for organising and monitoring export shipments, ensuring compliance with deadlines, customs regulations, and customer requirements.
Export Freight Forwarder
- Training in transport, logistics or international trade
- Proven experience as an export freight forwarder (minimum 7 years)
- Good knowledge of Incoterms and customs formalities
- Fluency in French; English is an additional asset at B2 level (German appreciated depending on the region)
- Comfortable with IT tools and forwarding software
- Organised, autonomous and solution-oriented person
- Organisation and management of road export shipments, possibly air and sea
- Preparation and control of transport and customs documents (customs declaration papers)
- Coordination with clients, carriers, airlines/sea lines and agents abroad
- Follow-up of files from A to Z until final delivery
- Management of disputes, claims and possible delays
- Compliance with internal procedures and international regulations
