The Vaudoise arena is a multi-sport and event campus located in Prilly, on the doorstep of Lausanne, which fully contributes to the influence of the Olympic capital. Hosting ten resident clubs mainly active in aquatic and ice disciplines, this state-of-the-art facility offers a high-performance and pleasant environment for all its staff and clients.

The main missions of the Vaudoise arena are, on the one hand, to provide all the facilities and services necessary for the development and promotion of elite and youth sport, and, on the other hand, to promote the well-being and health of the population through physical activity.

To complete our teams, we are looking for a

Reporting to the Operations Director, a member of the management team, you manage the technical infrastructure and supervise a team of specialists in building technology and planning.

In this context, you ensure the proper functioning, compliance and optimisation of all the technical installations of the Vaudoise arena. You actively contribute to energy efficiency and the continuous improvement of consumption, while maintaining the comfort of the campus users and clients.

Your responsibilities

• organise and supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of all the technical installations on the campus with the support of the CMMS
• manage the building's technical installations: HVAC, electricity, sanitary facilities, lighting and DALI home automation, BMS/SCADA, through internal interventions or by mobilising specialised companies
• ensure the monitoring of regulatory controls, the compliance of installations and the updating of technical documentation: plans, reports, procedures and registers
• assist the Operations Director in the development, monitoring and evolution of preventive, planned and corrective maintenance strategies, as well as the technical maintenance concept of the building, by analysing risks, profitability, quality and coherence of investment and maintenance operations
• manage the technical service budget, monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the optimisation of resources, contracts and investments
• control energy consumption (thermal, cooling, hydraulic) and adjust settings accordingly
• supervise the planning of spaces dedicated to sports practice and the management of relationships with the various sports clubs

Your profile

• higher technical education (ES, HES or equivalent) in building technology, electrical engineering, HVAC or a federal certificate of competence (CFC) in one of these trades, ideally complemented by a diploma in Facility Management and maintenance leadership or the federal maintenance agent certificate
• trainer qualification for apprentices, an asset
• proven experience of more than 5 years in the operation and maintenance of building technical installations and in team management
• solid knowledge of HVAC, BMS/SCADA and home automation
• proficiency in CMMS and ease with IT tools
• knowledge of Swiss regulatory requirements applicable to technical installations and fire safety (AEAI / CSI guidelines), an asset
• autonomy, sense of responsibility and priorities, solution and results orientation
• excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of internal and external partners
• very good command of French, English and/or German is a plus
• flexible working hours (including evenings, nights and weekends) for on-call service, events or other interventions
• driving licence and geographical proximity (within 1 hour) essential
