Job Description
Our client is a technologically world-leading Swiss manufacturer of highly precise production systems and machine tools for the most demanding materials. For an upcoming, highly exciting major project in the United States, we are looking for a technically skilled and adventurous assembler. After thorough training at the headquarters in the Lake Constance / Eastern Switzerland region, you will relocate your workplace directly to the USA for 6 to 12 months to take the lead in installing the systems there!
Your tasks: First-class training & the big USA project
- Comprehensive training and internal development of highly complex, customised precision machines at the Swiss headquarters
- Stationary foreign assignment in the USA (for approx. 6 to 12 months) for direct installation and commissioning of the systems on site at the customer
- Professional commissioning of complex hydraulic, pneumatic and cooling systems in the American plant
- Highly precise levelling and fine adjustment of the demanding machine geometries
Carrying out functional checks, processing trials as well as systematic fault analysis and rectification on site - Conducting practical training for local staff and solving technical challenges in close cooperation with the engineers

Qualifications
Your profile:
- Successfully completed technical basic training
- Extensive professional experience in a comparable industrial environment (e.g. in special machine or plant construction)
- Absolute and unrestricted willingness for a 6- to 12-month stationary stay in the USA
- Essential good to very good English skills for smooth communication on site (as well as good German skills for the Swiss headquarters)
- Strong technical understanding, high independence in problem-solving and a genuine "can-do" mentality
- A pronounced flair and great interest in immersing yourself in the American work culture
