Your Tasks
- Operation, further development, and design of our network and server infrastructure (Cisco, Aruba, Sophos)
- Engineering of WAN/LAN/WLAN/VLAN structures, firewalls, DMZ, and VPN
- Operation and expansion of the virtualised server environment (VMware)
- Collaboration in IT security: implementation of security policies and technical designs, support in awareness training and security concepts, securing the infrastructure according to ISO/IATF/TISAX requirements (building an ISMS)
- Working with modern security tools: vulnerability management (Tenable Nessus), endpoint security (SentinelOne), OT/network security (Claroty xDome), certificate management (TLS) as well as encryption technologies (BitLocker, AES, SSL)
Our Requirements
- Training in computer science system technology/platform development EFZ or higher professional education (HF/FH)
- Interest and solid basic understanding of network engineering
- Ideally experience in production or industrial environments
- Experience or strong motivation in IT security and network design
- Knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, firewalling, VLAN, routing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server (Windows, Exchange, SQL, ADFS), preferably also Linux
- Cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365) are an advantage
- Experience with VoIP/PBX/UCC systems (e.g. Mitel) is a plus
- Openness to familiarise yourself with new security tools and technologies
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Enjoyment of engineering tasks – not just "keeping operations running"
- Communicative, team-oriented personality with a sense of responsibility
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty and planned deployments as part of a professional IT operation
