Job Description
Urbagestion is an independent company based in French-speaking Switzerland specialising in the management of residential neighbourhoods. We are currently seeking a competent junior facility manager to join our technical management team. The ideal candidate is ready to take on responsibilities and coordinate staff. Their work will notably involve ensuring effective management of our neighbourhoods and buildings, as well as ensuring compliance with various internal and external standards. Our junior facility manager must have advanced technical knowledge in building maintenance as well as in safety and environmental regulations. Furthermore, we expect our junior facility manager to have excellent communication skills and strong availability, which will enable them to establish good relationships with our entire workforce and external service providers.
Job Objectives:
- Take responsibility for all technical and infrastructural maintenance services on a site
- Manage all projects and works within the framework of managing our buildings and equipment
- Lead negotiations with external service providers
- Prepare regulatory documentation on site and the corresponding legal documents
- Complete and organise the documentation of the buildings under management
- Ensure compliance with internal directives and adherence to legal provisions
- Prepare reports on your area of activity and provide them to management
Main Duties:
- Ensure the proper execution and quality of maintenance and repair works carried out by our external service providers
- Supervise and work daily alongside the team of technicians and caretakers
- Carry out first-level technical interventions independently
- Be available to respond to on-call duties outside normal working hours
- Accompany various control bodies and external service providers, ensure compliance with contractual commitments, costs, deadlines, and safety directives
- Provide technical training to our workforce on topics related to your area of activity
- Report anomalies and implement corrective measures
Required Skills:
- Previous professional experience in building management and maintenance
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Extensive knowledge of regulations and legal provisions in building maintenance
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
