Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced civil engineer for demanding projects in special foundation engineering and structural engineering. You will work on technically challenging constructions and develop solutions for bridge bearings and deck transitions. You will accompany projects from technical planning through design to implementation and work closely with internal and external project partners. The position offers a versatile technical environment with demanding infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
Technical processing and project planning of bridge bearings and deck transitions
Development and optimisation of design and execution solutions in special foundation engineering
Preparation and review of technical calculations, plans, and documentation
Accompanying projects from concept to realisation
Coordination with engineering offices, construction companies, specialist planners, and suppliers
Technical clarifications and assessment of existing structures and load-bearing constructions
Support with tenders, offers, and technical specifications
Accompanying assembly, acceptance, and commissioning on construction sites
Ensuring compliance with SIA standards, technical guidelines, and quality requirements
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer FH/ETH or HTL qualification in civil engineering
Several years of professional experience in special foundation engineering, structural engineering, or structural building construction
Sound knowledge in structural planning, design, and technical calculations
Experience with bridge bearings, deck transitions, or comparable components is an advantage
Good knowledge of CAD and Swiss SIA standards
Very good German language skills
