Your tasks
- Further development, programming, and commissioning of equipment as well as optimisation of existing automation solutions such as PLC, HMI, and drives
- Ensuring electrical maintenance by carrying out planned maintenance and service work
- Diagnosis and rectification of faults on systems, control systems, and sensors including subsequent repair
- Calibration and adjustment of process-relevant measuring and monitoring instruments
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, electrical schematics, as well as support in modernisation projects.
Qualifications
Your skills
- Completed basic training as an Automation Technician EFZ, ideally supplemented by further training as a technician or electronics engineer
- At least five years of relevant professional and industrial experience as well as a pronounced technical understanding
- Sound knowledge in PLC programming, especially with systems from Siemens, Beckhoff, or Mitsubishi
- Confident handling of the configuration of modern automation systems
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage for the international environment
