What is my role?

• You review inpatient services across all specialist areas and ensure correct billing with your expertise

• Using modern systems, you identify potentially incorrect codings and address them with clear, concise statements

• You actively participate in the further development and optimisation of the rules for semi-automated coding review

• You always keep regulatory and tariff requirements in view, analyse trends and develop innovative measures from them

• You promote professional exchange and contribute your experience and ideas to the continuous improvement of the team

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed basic training in the medical or nursing field

• Successfully completed further training as a Medical Coder

• Professional experience in medical coding

• Sound knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system; experience in health insurance or social insurance is a great advantage

• Confident and fluent communication in German, both spoken and written; knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage

• Curiosity to question existing processes, contribute your own ideas and actively shape changes
