Description of the position
The Appeals Commission for Initial Survey and Renewal deals with complaints against objection decisions of the commissioned engineer-surveyor, which have been issued according to special legislation at the end of the public display procedure of surveying works and in the resolution of contradictions. It decides as the final cantonal instance and is supervised by the Judicial Council. Due to its composition, it guarantees expert consideration of both aspects concerning the rights and obligations of the affected persons and specific aspects related to surveying.
Desired profile
- Lawyer's licence, Bachelor or Master degree in law
- Experience in property law and/or real estate law would be an advantage
- Interested persons must have sufficient availability of time
- Active civic engagement at the cantonal level. Persons with foreign nationality must have a residence permit and have lived in the canton for at least five years. Applicants must not be subject to a loss certificate order and must not have been convicted of offences incompatible with the office
- Proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language
