Head of Product Development 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Technical and disciplinary management of the product development department including further development of the development team

• Development and optimisation of meat and sausage products considering sensory aspects, raw material costs, nutritional requirements, technological processes

• Management of innovation projects from idea to market launch

• Close collaboration with production, quality assurance, purchasing and marketing

• Responsibility for recipes and involvement in product costing

• Support of production trials and scale-ups

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed studies in food technology, meat technology, nutritional science or comparable

• Several years of professional experience in product development or production in a responsible position for meat and sausage products

• Leadership experience is an advantage

• Sound knowledge in meat processing and technology, additives and functional ingredients, food law

• Can-do mentality

• Structured and economical way of thinking

• Strong sensory understanding and innovation capability

• Teamwork and communication skills
