Night and weekend work are additionally compensated, for example with an hourly wage supplement of 16 francs for Sunday work. For night shifts, you receive time bonuses of 10 to 30%, which allows you more free time. What you will achieve.

• In this varied position, you contribute to ensuring that our construction trains are ready to depart on time, thereby securing railway construction logistics.
• As a construction train attendant, you take on operational and technical train inspections and support the driver in safe train journeys from A to B.
• You accompany both shunting and train journeys.
• In addition to your role as a construction train attendant, you take on a safety function at the construction site or support your colleagues with work in the track area.

What you bring with you.

• For this demanding work in a 24-hour shift operation, you are physically and mentally resilient and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• You have completed basic training and ideally have completed an apprenticeship. Additionally, you already have professional experience in a craft, logistics, or comparable field.
• You have successfully completed further training as a construction train attendant (Cat. Ai), safety watchman, and/or safety chief.
• In your daily work, you use a tablet among other tools. You have no difficulty handling modern work equipment.
• You are fluent in German, both spoken and written.
• You have perfect colour vision (no red/green colour blindness).
